Thinking about an extra day got me thinking about the concept of time. Some enlightened ones would say let go of the past, the future is not real, but Ah, the present moment - that is the thing. In this moment we can love, forgive, we can choose a new thought, we can get lost in the beauty of a sunset or a flower. We can know the Kingdom of heaven is within.
This amazing gift of life is expressing through each of us in every now moment. We are channels to make love visible and to experience its’ potency and power. No need to wait for a special day/party or an invitation. We can open to it during errands or work, in the quietness of a day by ourselves, walking down a hallway. The opportunities are unlimited.
May we have a leap year day in which we cut loose and let love flow, simply because we remember love is what we are. May we fall into wonder at the gift of life. May we connect with another for the joy of it. May we take in a breath and let peace fill our hearts. May we celebrate life here and now!
