Love in Action Teams
Basic to our Love in Action Teams is the firm belief that service is a noble path to God and it is indeed an honor to serve. Without volunteers, the church could not operate effectively. There is no greater gift than the giving of your time to the church. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact info@unitybonair.org and the appropriate person will respond about an opportunity to serve. Volunteers are needed for the following teams:
Fellowship Coffee Team
The team facilitates congregational fellowship by hosting Sunday morning refreshments (often supplied by congregants), helping organize special celebrations, occasional pot-luck luncheons and holiday parties.
Audio Team
This team provides A/V movies and clips during special events and on occasion, Sunday services.
Lay Leader Team
This team serves as an assistant to the minister on the platform during the Sunday services and other special events.
Youth Ministry
The Youth and Family Ministry Team prayerfully ensures that our youth learn Unity principles in a nurturing and loving environment. More about the Youth ministry.
Prayer Team
The Prayer Ministry Team supports the Unity of Bon Air family through prayer. More about Unity's prayer support.
Usher Teams
This team serves as greeters and ushers during the Sunday Celebration, as well as other special services.
Sanctuary Ambiance/Decorating Team
The team creates a warm, bright, loving interior – creating meditative setting that moves us into that sacred space.
Bookstore
The Book Store Ministry Team manages the Unity bookstore, providing materials for Unity classes and personal spiritual growth. More about the Bookstore.
Meditation Gardens
The signature of our church - the Gardens Team keeps the two-and-a-half acre beautiful meditation gardens in pristine condition, making it an inviting haven for those who seek closeness to God in nature. More about the Meditation Gardens.
Building and Electrical Team
This team keeps the church structure in tip-top shape.
Maintenance
A well-maintained church facility is inviting and this team makes certain our church reflects a welcoming atmosphere.
