Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry group meets each month, generally on a Sunday after the 11:00 a.m. church service in the sanctuary. Check the calendar for meeting dates and times, as they may vary.
Group participants knit and crochet shawls, infusing prayer for individuals facing challenges, needing comfort or healing, or celebrating special events in their lives. Yarn is supplied through love offerings, so one only needs needles and hooks to participate. These talented individuals have knitted and crocheted an average of 10 shawls a month since January 2008.
Requests for shawls may be sent by e-mail to Susan Wheeler, Shawl Ministry coordinator, swheeler22@yahoo.com. Shawl request forms are located on the church bulletin board.
