Guest Speaker: Reverend Dr. Thelma Smith
Rev. Dr. Thelma Smith has been an independent Religious Science minister for thirty years. She founded the King George Center for Creative Living in 1985 in her large, 200 year old house. She had Sunday services, taught Science of Mind classes and had workshops, parties and weddings there. She loved it, but it all changed in 1991 when she let go of one great adventure to experience another. She moved to Richmond with the love of her life, Rev. Dwight, to develop a center, the Spiritual Mind Center of Richmond.
The Spiritual Mind Center was active and fun, but again the time came for change. Thelma and her husband, Dwight still teach classes, lead workshops, do counseling, weddings, and other ceremonies, as well as speak every fourth
at the All Paths Gathering Center. They are also guest speakers from time to time at different churches in the area.
When Thelma is not busy with her ministry, she enjoys doing her artwork and she has written a few published magazine articles as well as a small book called, “The Parable of the Mayfly”. She has enjoyed a wonderful life and the raising of her four sons has been the highlight, as well as, the most FUN!
