This introductory course will help you discover how aspects of personality reveal strength and power, and how to tap into even greater potential through expanding awareness.  Go beyond personality analysis to reveal the Enneagram as an insightful tool for the creative process of living and realizing Oneness.

  • For the January 21st session: Do your best to determine your Enneagram type before coming to class on January 21st. There are many free tests available online. Read chapters 1& 5 in The Positive Enneagram by Susan Rhodes.
  • For the January 28th session, read chapter 2 in The Positive Enneagram by Susan Rhodes

  • For the Febraury 4th session, read chapters 3 & 7 in The Positive Enneagram by Susan Rhodes
  • For the Febraury 11th session, read chapters 4 & 6 in The Positive Enneagram by Susan Rhodes
  • For the February 18th session, read chapters 8 & 9 in The Positive Enneagram by Susan Rhodes

Facilitator: Cheryl Fare is a Licensed Unity Teacher, inspirational speaker, published playwright, actor, producer, director, singer/songwriter, organizational consultant, heart-centered metaphysician.  At Unity of Bon Air, Cheryl teaches classes, is a Prayer Chaplain, holds a staff position as Communications Coordinator, and has served for many years writing and directing original short plays for performance on Sunday mornings under the banner Wisdom Skits.  Cheryl has a passion for Unity Principles, and shares openly how using these real and practical Truth teachings have guided her through several exceptional life challenges.  Cheryl holds an MFA in Theatre from VA Tech, and is pleased to bring her 30+ years of experience in professional theatre to her new focus in Unity as a Licensed Unity Teacher.

Meditation Practices – Class

"Extensive research on meditation practices has revealed that regular meditation has many mental and physical benefits and that there are many effective ways to meditate. This course explores the practice and the experience of various forms of meditation. Benefits of meditation will be explored as well as methods to overcome resistance to it. There will also be helpful tips for developing a regular meditation practice. Practicing the Silence, Unity’s meditation practice, is fundamental and foundational to Unity teachings. "

She develops the curriculum for those seeking a greater understanding of Unity principles, as well as classes that support exploration of the inner Self. Valorie is also a musician and a Music Minister who leads song and drum circles and other workshops using her music, Native American flute, and other transformational tools.
