Singer-Songwriter Carrie Brockwell
Original Songs and Old Favorites from a Teen Sensation
Carrie’s performance will include her “jazzy, bluesy and country” style on classic songs by Carole King, Elton John, The Eagles, Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson as well as modern country artists such as Carrie Underwood and Ashley McBride. Carrie will also be performing her original music on piano and guitar and occasionally will be accompanied by her dad on guitar.
Carrie Brockwell is a rising sophomore at Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for Arts and Technology. Her area of focus is Musical Theater. Carrie is no stranger to the stage having performed in many musicals in the Richmond area including the role of Annie in the Main Stage production of “Annie” at the Theater Company at Fort Lee and the role of Nelle in “A Christmas Memory” produced by the Illuminated Stage Theater Company. During the pandemic Carrie spent time writing and composing songs. She recently completed the studio portion of a four song EP record. That EP will be released later this fall. Carrie’s passion is music and she loves to perform. She has begun playing solo shows in venues in the Richmond area and hopes to one day take it on the road to Nashville, New York and L.A.!
