There’s No Place like Home from UBA Board member, Regina Carr-Goodwin
When I think of my home, I think of comfort, familiarity, security and being surrounded by loved ones. Recently, there have been events in my life that have caused overwhelm. The loss of a partner, major home repairs and children graduating resulting in "empty nest" have been life challenges to overcome and adapt to a new reality.
I am grateful to have a spiritual center, Unity of Bon Air to call home. In this home, I am loved, accepted and reminded of who I truly am. I am a child of God and possess all the love, light, power, peace and wisdom to rise up and claim my divine inheritance. Practicing spiritual principles allows me to be present to new possibilities in my life. At the beginning of my involvement with Unity, it was if the minister was saying to me, "You've had the power all along my dear."
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
