Unity & Black History Month

Unity & Black History Month
At Unity of Bon Air, we are pleased to highlight the powerful contributions of African Americans in the development of the New Thought and Unity movements. All through the month of February, we will provide opportunities to explore and learn more about the great African American leaders who have helped to shape the Unity that we know and love today.

Each Sunday service this month will include a short "Black History Moment" presentation prepared by a member of our own congregation.

In the lobby bookstore you will find copies of the Unity publication, "Gems of Wisdom from Black Leaders of New Thought," in which modern leaders remember those who influenced them most.

CLICK HERE to visit TruthUnity.net, a website that is an ever-expanding fountain of wisdom about all aspects of the Unity movement. For February, the home page
at TruthUnity.net features seven profiles of African Americans who contributed to the growth of Unity in the early years.

And, for fans of the Unity of Bon Air  Facebook page, the #WeekendWarmUp feature, every Friday this month, will include links to stories about African American leaders in the Unity movement.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn the complete history of the Unity movement, and to be able to acknowledge the contributions of so many great African American leaders!
