There are many things that could be getting in the way of our realizing and feeling peace in our mind and heart. Let's take time in the silence to pray and reconnect with the peace of God within us.
Sit comfortably and without distractions. Take a deep cleansing breath in and release it slowly as you also let your body relax. Do this again.
You are in the presence of the living, loving Christ that is within you and all around you. Be still and know you are in this presence. Affirm, 'Trusting in you Spirit, I am peace'. 'Trusting in you Spirit, I am peace.' Stay with this thought. Sit in the silence with this for a moment. 'Trusting in you Spirit, I am peace.'
Allow peace to rise in you. Allow your mind, heart, body and emotions to align in peace. You experience a peace that is more powerful than any challenge or concern. Inner peace is of God and is eternally within you and available to you and blesses you now. In gratitude, you affirm, 'I am grateful'.
And so it is.
Peace love and joy,

Do you feel that circumstances in the world are beyond your control? Are there times when you wonder how your personal efforts can make a difference? I desire to remind you that there is nothing greater than the Divine Presence within. The One Presence, One Power active in the Universe resides in you. It is your divine birthright. This energy is always there for you. It is nearer than your breath closer than your hands and feet.
Begin when you first wake in the morning. Take a deep breath and connect to the Source Energy that you are. Feel Gratitude and think pleasant happy thoughts.
Begin your day connected to the Divine Power Within.
Draw upon the deep well of all good that is within and any perceived adversity will wither under the light of Truth.
Think thoughts of Gratitude, Compassion, and Kindness.This activity will change your life.
Why not begin with the new year?
With Great Love

In this moment I feel especially blessed to pray with you. With all that is happening in our world, it may be difficult to keep our consciousness focused on peace. At times, I find myself reacting to the current political climate. I remind myself that peace comes from within. I recall the words of the Dalai Lama, “Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.”
And I pray this traditional peace prayer:
Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi (Prayer for Peace)
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
And I pray these peace prayers:
Now, Lord, come to our aid! Grant us peace, teach us peace; guide our steps in the way of peace. Open our eyes and our hearts, and give us the courage to say: “Never again war!”; “With war everything is lost”.
“Peace is not the absence of conflict, it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means”
I affirm: (Rev. Teresa Burton) I send my peace into the world. My thoughts are harmonious, my words kind, and my actions loving and helpful. I AM the peace of God.
I know: “Peace | leave with you; my peace I give you” (John 14:27).
And so it is,
~ Stephanie
