Using the breath and gentle movement we bring harmony to our bodies and mind. A great way to distress! Yoga unites body, mind and spirit. We will do gentle stretches and yoga poses mostly seated. Some poses are standing with the aid of a chair. Wear comfortable clothes, and sneakers. Bring water, and a pillow (if desired).

Rejuvenate and relax on Tuesday evenings with Sound Journey, a meditative and restorative crystal bowl sound bath hosted by Erin Housholder.
When we can dedicate time in our busy lives for decompressing, we not only feel better, but we are living with less stress, anxiety or fatigue. In our time together, we will release the body with a few minutes of gentle movements and guided breathwork before settling into a comfortable position... then, there is nothing else to Do, but Be as you experience the angelic harmonies of the crystal singing bowls.
You are invited to bring items that will enhance your experience, such as comfortable clothes, a yoga mat, blankets, pillows, eye masks, etc.
All are welcome! No experience required.
Doors open at 6pm, session begins at 6:15, ending by 7:30. Please arrive in time to select your spot, use the restroom and silence your phone.
Suggested donation $10 – 20+ which includes a generous Love Offering to Unity of Bon Air in gratitude for their continued support of this program.

Would you like to create a world that works for all?
We are participating in a church-wide book study through April 2027. We meet the first Tuesday night of each month. The study class lasts 2 hours. If you're new to the group, please call the church office to provide your contact information so that you may receive the support materials for each month.
The amazing Rev. Stephanie Seigh, a Unity minister in Pennsylvania, has been working with churches around the country, helping great things unfold in each church. She will Zoom in for the class. We gather in New-Rock Hall so we can be with one another. You may Zoom in, although it will be more fun to be with each other. The class is called Creating the Beloved Community (by Rev. Lockard) after the book of the same name. We will learn about the qualities, attitudes, and practices that are needed to manifest the kind of world envisioned by Howard Thurman and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr.; a world of peace and harmony. The focus is on how to support the larger concept of the Universal Beloved Community, by creating The Beloved Community locally - as authentic local spiritual communities. The book speaks of the leadership qualities needed to create such a community, including cultural evolutionary awareness, presencing, and psychological awareness of our own and others' development. I have been in workshops with the book author, Rev. Jim Lockard, and also Rev. Stephanie. I know you will be inspired and touched.
The book can usually be ordered through your favorite bookstore or Amazon. The class is being given on a love offering basis. I look forward to your presence and the transformative impact it will have at UCBA.
