This Saturday, we will be in a new month, and we are going to be filled with gratitude in November. On Sunday, we will be thinking grateful thoughts for the gift of sacred service. What an amazing thing it is that we can embody divine love and move in our world with hands, feet, and open hearts. Our fifth principle reminds us that we may know truth, yet it is only as we put it into practice does it make a difference.
Our teachings remind us that we are spiritual beings filled with powers, and as we express these powers, we serve the world. Our greatest joy is to live from our Christ center. Take a minute and remember a time when you connected from your truth to the center of love in another person. It’s a magical, mystical experience. Pause and sit with that feeling for a moment.
I think of Myrtle praying and writing letters sharing her love, and how she blessed individuals and still blesses all of us with her words which carry such heart. I think of our Prayer Chaplains holding sacred space each week with our members and sending them out empowered to be their best selves. There are too many people and Love-In-Action Committees to name here, yet each person creates the opening for love to be felt.
I invite you to reflect on the love you have received and the love you have shared. It is the purpose of our lives here, and what joy it brings! Come on Saturday (light stringing) and again on Sunday and start November with overflowing gratitude for our ability to give and to receive. How very blessed we are!
I am sharing a Karen Drucker song, “Blessing To The World”. Go ahead, turn up the volume and dance in joy and gratitude. You are a blessing!
Listen to Karen’s song below.
With gratitude for you,
