Celebrating The Love We Are

Celebrating The Love We Are

Listen to some words from Fr. Richard Rohr, a modern mentor to oodles of Christians. “Love is not really an action that you do. Love is what and who you are, in your deepest essence.  Love is a place that already exists inside of you but is also greater than you. That’s the paradox.  It’s within you and yet beyond you. This creates a sense of abundance and more-than-enoughness, which is precisely the satisfaction and deep peace of the True Self. You know you’ve found a well that will never go dry (see John 4:13-14.)  Your True Self, God’s Love in you, cannot be exhausted.”

Celebrate Valentine’s Day whether you are single or in a relationship. Go within and tune into the love that is your essence.  It is the most powerful force in the world. Celebrate by telling the people who deeply matter, “I love you.” Tell someone who looks like they need a hug, “I love you.”  Be the outrageous expression of Christ that you are. Whatever we pass out, returns to bless us. We live in an abundant universe. Enjoy being in the flow – live, love, dance, sing, sit quietly, walk outside, create beauty, speak your truth.  It is all an expression of the ONE LOVE.

Joy to you as we celebrate the power of love,

Rev Patty
