I am continuing the Advent peace theme with this quote from Robert Fulghum: “Peace is not something you wish for. It is something you make, something you are, something you do, and something you give away.”
I miss the part of the service where we got up and exchanged a sign of peace with each other. COVID stopped some of our touchy-feely parts of life. Yet the truth is we can exchange peace with a look, with a smile or with a word. In a society crazy into materialism, it is good to remind ourselves that the most meaningful gifts are the invisible ones. May we find ways to share peace with our friends, families, and strangers, because we are all one, and we are all hungering for this truth that dwells within each of us. May we share extravagantly, boldly and like there is no tomorrow! Happy Gifting!
