When we declare the truths upon which we stand, we put them into practice. All are welcome because all are an expression of the One Presence and One Power. Some family members are thrown out of their family of origin because of their choices. They discover at Unity a place to belong where they can be authentically themselves. This is food for the heart and soul. It is coming home.
During this pride month, I want to say – We are glad that you are here. We are richer because of our diversity. In a world with 8.3 billion people, love brought you to share your consciousness with us! We are grateful.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu sees diversity as a gift that highlights our shared humanity. Our differences help us recognize our need for one another and celebrate our interconnectedness.
We are ONE. One power, one humanity, one world, one love, expressing life boldly and creatively.
