I love this idea! I found this in an old booklet called The Simple Prayer by Mary Kupferle. I know you will find it useful. Here's an excerpt:
Several years ago while I was talking with a loved friend and Truth
teacher, she mentioned that, when in need, she seldom asked God for
anything specific. Instead, she often used the simple words, “God I am
trusting!”
My friend used these words when she studied, as she helped others out
of difficulties, and she went about daily tasks and household duties.
She repeated the words “God, I am trusting!” either silently or aloud with
calmness and assurance.
Sometimes you and I may feel an old condition or difficulty is too deeply
embedded in our minds, bodies, or lives to come out easily by using so
simple a prayer as “God, I am trusting!” …..Jesus knew the truth that it
is always God within who does the work. (Kupferle)
As we remember to turn our energy and attention to the One Source of all our blessings, we have nothing to fear. You could also say I am trusting love.
This teaching is both simple and profound. You can find the booklet in it’s entirety here: The Simple Prayer by Mary Kupferle. I invite us to try this practice during this season and discover the peace that passes doing things the ego way. This offers clarity and a path back to our true identity. Anytime we remember that we live and move and have our being in love, our stress disappears.
With great love,
Rev. Patty
