I love that the Lenten Booklet has the theme of a garden. The most beautiful garden that we can tend is the inner garden of our soul. It is the secret garden where we are always planting with our thoughts and intentions. Desire arises from the depths of our garden. The Divine whispers in our garden.
I adore seeing the plants and trees doing their thing in this season. It’s absolutely glorious! As we watch the earth coming alive with leaves and blooms, remember that the same life force is seeking to bloom in your life. New growth, unbelievably luscious flowers and fruits are ready to come into manifestation. What have you been dreaming about? What new perspective would create utter joy in your life? Who is showing up in your life gracing it with kindness and beauty? Who would you enjoy blessing with a call or text? Plow, dig, plant and fertilize in your thoughts and actions. The divine master gardener of love is at work in this moment in the soil of your heart and your life.
I invite everyone to release all that would make your garden messy and dwell in the 12 powers that are always alive in Christ consciousness. Give energy to faith, imagination, strength, love and all the rest. Create a bumper crop of abundance because we know that to which we give energy grows and multiplies.
You are a beautiful garden. You are a unique expression of the One ready to show forth the beauty of love expressing with outrageous colors and shapes in the world. Be present to the truth of who you are. You are magnificent! Enjoy Eddie Watkins Jr.’s song “The Garden.”
In delight and awe,
Rev. Patty
