One of my teachers, Rev Kelly Isola, posted this on FB. It went straight to my heart.
Easter Sunday — We Do Not Rise Alone
by Rev. Kelly Isola
No one rises alone. Every time you’ve made it through something…someone was there.
They may not have fixed it. They may not have understood it. But they stayed.
And that presence helped carry you into something new. That’s resurrection.
Not a solo achievement—but love that refuses to leave. We do not rise alone.”
We talk a lot about individual choice in Unity, and yet we are always on the path together. It’s in our name, Unity. We rise together. We lift each other up. As Brené Brown says, we are hardwired for connection. I am going to celebrate the Resurrection this week by thanking a few people for holding space for me when I was a mess and was hoping to rise. Won’t you join me in spreading appreciation and love?
Joy to you as you experience new life OR as you are present with another as they find their way to new life.
Oodles of love!
Rev. Patty ❤
