Catch the Renewal Vibe

Catch the Renewal Vibe

The song “Summertime” has the phrase, “Summertime and the livin’ is easy.”  What is your favorite summer activity?  What brings you joy and renewal?  How do we renew our mind, body and Spirit?  It’s an important question.  It’s something to consider and then make a choice to tend to our own wholeness.  Put it on the calendar.  Take a pause. Breathe.

Unity schedules the national convention in June, so renewal is coming soon for me.  Rev. Jim Rosemergy, who did my installation, is the guest speaker.  I will be rooming with a dear friend from Michigan, as well as listening to lots of input from others.  A grand way to fill one’s cup and heart!

I go directly from the convention to my brother’s celebration of life service.  We get to hold onto each other, grieve, laugh, eat and be family -more renewal.

So, what’s your plan?  How will you pause and refresh?  The mountains and the beach are nearby but you don’t have to leave home to do self-care.  You simply have to set the intention, create a plan, and take the time to do it.  You are worth it!

Come sit in the gardens or walk the labyrinth; join us for yoga, meditation and breaking bread together on Wed.; sit in your yard and listen to the birds; or go camping and let nature soothe your being.  I hope you will love yourself so deeply that you will take a pause and refresh.  Be bold and allow something to arise that will knock your socks off.

I’d love to hear what you did and how it touched you.  I love stories of the Divine at work in our lives.  We are created for love and for joy.  Take a dive into self-love and let your joy abound.  Come back to us beaming with light and peace.

Enjoy Charlie Thweatt’s song, “Peace Has Found You” below.

Here’s to hearts filled to overflowing,
Rev. Patty
