Play is the mode through which children learn. When we play, we enter a state of being light, creative, and in touch with our heart. The joy we experience there starts flowing and raises our vibration. We are made in the image and likeness of the One that is full of creativity and fun. God's creation itself reveals a sense of playful extravagance. We see the wide variety and artistic nature of the natural world. Just looking at penguins, dolphins or puppies playing fills me with glee!
This Sunday, we will be “Growing in Play and Laughter”. The talk will have some experiential aspects to it. I’m inviting you to wear something that gives you a playful vibe! Let’s play with one another and consider how being playful is an expression of our divinity.
I believe ‘play’ is an expression of God’s presence in the world. We were created in joy and in love, and our calling is to fully express that love. Some might say that this is serious business, yet I say it is a playful, spontaneous, and blissful way of being. When we know the truth of our being, the light and love that is living and breathing us; it most often expresses in a feeling of delightful celebration.
