I discovered this very moving poem this week. We continue to create a place of Beloved Community here at UCBA. This means it is safe to be your authentic self. This requires us all to show up as the love we are and to behold it in one another. We are sharing, teaching, and planting so that we may express the truth within, the Christ presence. We are giving this precious gift week after week to one another. When we cross the veil, we will
have made an impact that called forth the best in one another. It is the path of cherished belonging. It is the way that Jesus the Christ showed up. What a privilege and honor to have such a high calling. Joy to each of us as we walk love’s path.
Death Ends a Life, Not a Relationship

The love you shared didn’t live in their body. It lives in you.
The memories aren’t just things you recall.
They’re the foundation of who you are.
Living your life with everything they gave you, everything they
taught you, everything they planted in you, is how they live on.
Not as a ghost you desperately cling to, but as a presence woven
so deeply into your being that even death couldn’t take it away.
