On Sunday I told a great parable about chickens and an eagle. The eagle represented our divine identity as beings of unlimited power and potential. The chickens were the part of our minds telling stories of fear, limitation and old disempowering stories. The bottom line is to ask, “Who am I?”
When we know who we are, we will have the answer to every challenge that life poses. When we forget our truth, all of life is a problem because we do not remember that we have abundant resources. Deep within us is the awareness that we are one with the One Power. This Power will express in, through and as us for our good. It is not the ego mind, rather it is the Christ consciousness that operates with wisdom, love and infinite possibilities. The power to change our lives is an inside job. We have the strength and opportunity to choose what we want to be and then become it.
What are we telling ourselves and others? Who are you? Jesus said, “Even greater things than I, shall you do.” Sounds like an invitation to stretch forth our wings and fly by seeing and being our true selves! Enjoy India Arie’s beautiful song below about this question, "Who are you?"
You are light!
